The Galaxy S name isn’t going anywhere any time soon, so it’s no shock to see another one of the branded devices heading to an international wireless carrier. This time around, it’s another device with a full, physical slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It’s name? The Galaxy S Glide, and it is heading to Rogers “just in time for the holidays.”
The device in question has all of the features we’ve come to expect from the original Galaxy S line-up. Specifically, the handset will feature a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display. You’ll find an 8MP camera on the back, and a 1.2MP front-facing shooter. It will be running Android 2.3 right out of the box, and the device will feature a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. While Rogers was nice enough to announce a launch “window,” there’s no word on pricing yet.
