Samsung Galaxy S II LTE launching for Rogers on September 28
So while the US-based carriers are still waiting to get their airwaves harassed by the Samsung Galaxy S II, it looks like Rogers up in Canada is gearing up for a release of its own. But, they’re probably a bit more excited, considering the wireless carrier has something to be proud of: they will be the first carrier to launch an LTE-enabled smartphone. And that’s where the Samsung Galaxy S II comes in.
The carrier officially announced via Twitter that they will be bringing the Samsung Galaxy S II with LTE to the network on September 28th. Specs wise, future owners are looking at a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in memory.
Unfortunately, the carrier’s reps weren’t able to go into detail about pricing quite yet, but that should be unveiled any day now.
