Samsung Illusion and Pantech Breakout break cover, show off Verizon branding

For those of you out there who follow leaked road maps, then you already know about the Pantech Breakout and Samsung Illusion. What we didn’t know, though, is what exactly these devices would look like. But we can say pretty confidently that that’s settle now, with this fresh batch of leaks pertaining to the devices in question. The Pantech Breakout is pictured above, while the mysterious Samsung Illusion is front and center down below.

As far as statistics go, the Pantech Breeze is the only device sporting any kind of information regarding its physical characteristics. Such as, the device will feature a 4-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800×480. There’s a 1GHz processor under the hood, running Android 2.3. On the back there’s a 5MP camera, and on the front a VGA front-facing version. There’s 512MB of RAM, and 4G LTE-connectivity. One last thing: it will feature a Pantech-created proprietary user interface, as you can tell from the image. Love it or hate it, it’s there.

As for the Samsumg Illusion, it looks like this device is aimed to be a replacement for the Samsung Gem. It’s model number, SCH-i110 would suggest as much. Other than that, though, we don’t know much about this particular handset. We’ve heard in the past that it will launch with Android 2.3 out of the box, and have 3G-connectivity. As for releases dates on both handsets, there’s no word on when the Pantech Breakout will land on store shelves, while the Samsung Illusion is rumored to land on September 29th.
