Cricket has officially unveiled their latest Android offering. The Samsung Vitality may look like an entry-level device, but the specifications (and price tag) are surely meant to address those wanting a relatively speedy Android experience. While it may not be the next greatest high-end device, the Vitality isn’t the worst of the bunch, either.
Speaking of stats: the Vitality features a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 320×480. There’s an 800MHz processor under the hood, along with a 4GB microSD card preinstalled. There’s a 3.2MP camera around back, and a 1,600mAh battery running the show. The device will also launch with Android 2.3 out of the box. The device is scheduled for availability next week, and will cost $199.99 after a $20 instant rebate.
Also worth noting, this is yet another Android device from Cricket that will promote the carrier’s Muve Music feature. That means you’ll be able to download as much music as you want, whenever you want, as the subscription service is tied to your Cricket monthly bill. Check out the full press release for all the gritty details.
