LG Revolution for Verizon has Gingerbread changelog posted on site

For owners of the LG Revolution, waiting for Gingerbread has probably been a little daunting. Now that many other phones, especially devices launched around the same time as the Revolution, have received their update to Gingerbread, it looks like Verizon and LG are finally ready to update this one, too.

Verizon has posted the Revolution’s Gingerbread changelog onto the site, which means that the official roll-out of the update should happen anytime now. The software build number will be bumped up to VS910ZV7, and it will be a download that measures in at 87.8MB. As usual, the update will bring you the latest version of Android 2.3 to your device, which comes with plenty of enhancements on its own. But the newer software also brings with it bug fixes, minor enhancements, and a fix for the force close issue that was hindering list menus from time to time. You can check out the full changelog through the source link below.

The update should start rolling out today, as LG has been given the green light from Verizon to go ahead and release it. As always it will be going out in phases, so stay patient. Or, just head into the Settings menu and try to grab the update from the cloud. Let us know what you think of the new software once you get it up and running.
