So it’s been awhile since LG made any mention of their 2D-to-3D converter application for apps and games, but it looks like the manufacturer hasn’t forgotten about it. According to new reports, the app is now beginning its subtle roll-out over the international markets. The app has some specific limitations, or certain parameters, so not everyone will be able to use it, but it’s a good idea nonetheless.
The application will only work correctly with applications and or games that use OpenGL; and it is meant for the LG Optimus 3D internationally, and the LG Thrill 4G here locally. And, while it’s an application, LG has decided to bundle it with a maintenance update, which will also bring some updates to the software as well, with bug fixes included for good measure. The roll out is beginning in Europe, and should be hitting those handsets very soon. The global roll out will happen over the next few weeks.
