Motorola DROID X2 update now rolling out to owners

Motorola hinted that a new update for the Motorola DROID X2 was incoming, and today looks to be the big day. The new software is now being pushed out over the air to all owners out there. The software build is number 1.3.380, and as you can imagine, there’s plenty of bug fixes and other enhancements to dig into.

As we heard before, the update is meant to stop the phone from rebooting while you’re using the keyboard (that’s good news, right?), and the device will reportedly stop locking up randomly throughout the day. As we said above, the update is being pushed out by Motorola right now, and your phone should give you a notification when the time is right. However, if you’re tired of waiting, just head into Settings –> About phone –> System updates. That should call in the update for you when you want it.
