While there are a few Motorola XOOM tablet owners out there who are patiently waiting for their Ice Cream Sandwich update, if you get a software update notification soon, don’t get too excited. This latest build is HTK75D, and it’s believed that it is the same HLK75D that landed on the Motorola XOOM 4G not too long ago.

This version will bring the newest version of the Android Market to your XOOM 3G, along with a new Google Books application and some other minor under-the-hood enhancements. Not a major update, but no one is going to turn down a software build (that doesn’t break your device), right? Head into Settings –> About tablet –> System updates to get your latest software version installed on your tablet.
