Samsung Galaxy Nexus signup page showcases 7 wireless carriers

When a high-profile device is getting ready to hit the shelves, manufacturers (and carriers) will usually launch a “learn more about…” page, where you can sign up to have information about the particular device sent to you before the launch. It’s a great way to get to know a device long before you buy it.

This time around, we also get a chance to see where the Galaxy Nexus may be heading. While nothing is confirmed as of yet, the signup page for the device lists 7 different wireless carriers where the device could potentially end up. Not surprisingly, Verizon’s name is listed, but then there are a few names mixed in there that are pretty shocking. Not surprising, however, is: Sprint, T-Mobile USA and AT&T. Now for the surprise: US Cellular, Cellular South and Metro PCS.

This is huge news if it pans out: the new Galaxy Nexus on every major wireless carrier. We’ll have to wait and see how this pans out.

They might be trying to get an idea of where the most demand is so if you want it on T-Mobile, sign up.

It is a penta band device..so off it goes to multiple carriers. They can also make adjustments to suit other Networks.

It's almost like they listened to everyone and decided to make their phone carrier independent!
