Archos Arnova 7b and 10b G2 get official specs

Ready for another budget Archos tablet? Archos has officially outed the specs for two of its new tablets, the Arnova 7b and 10b G2. As far as specs, they both include 1GHz single core Cortex-A8 processors, front facing cameras, and either 4GB or 8GB of storage. The 7″ variant has a resolution of 480×800, while the 10″ version steps it up to 600×1024. Android 2.3 is powering all this, most likely with a custom skin on top.

Archos will be allowing the ability to chose between a capacitive or resistive touchscreen, something not common in the tablet market. In the battery department, the 7b is rated at 8 hours and 40 minutes of  video playback, while the 10b G2 should get about 8 hours. Anyone excited about another Archos tablet? Or is it too low end for most? Let us know in the comments!
