The Galaxy Nexus U.S. launch is still up in the air leaving Android fans clamoring for any bit of Ice Cream Sandwich they can find. Thankfully the always resourceful Android community has come through once again and provided the much improved Ice Cream Sandwich keyboard to download. The keyboard will work on any device running Android 2.2 and above; no rooting necessary.
This is still in beta, so don’t be alarmed if you run into a few hiccups. Once installed from the Market make sure to turn on the keyboard in the settings. Go to Settings>Language & Keyboard, then check the box next to Ice Cream Sandwich keyboard. To select it as your default keyboard you can long-press in any text field, choose Input Method, and select ICS keyboard. Android Market link below.
