It has been a few months since Verizon and HTC first rolled out the Android 2.3 update for the DROID Incredible by HTC, one of the most popular Android phones out there. Unfortunately though, as it sometimes happens, the update process didn’t go over so well for everyone, and both companies decided that it would be better to pull the update before more issues cropped up. Back then there was no word on when the new update would start finding its way to phones, but now it looks like the wait is over.

The update is build number 4.08.605.2, and it’s being pushed out from Verizon starting today. As it goes with every update, you’ll have to wait until the wave lands in your area, but it shouldn’t take too long before all the Incredibles out there are officially updated to the latest version of Android 2.3.
