Galaxy Nexus Shipping Unlocked in America Now, Will Cost You $750

Most of us are waiting for the Galaxy Nexus to arrive in the States via Verizon, but might not be the only place to get one. If you’re interested in a unlocked GSM version you can order one right now…for $750. No one ever said early adoption was affordable.

The 16GB HSPA+ model is what you’ll get with your $750. It’s available from Expansys. You will be able to put in either an AT&T or T-Mobile SIM card and it will work just fine. Ah the magic of being pentaband enabled. For those of us not ready to shell out this kid of cash the wait continues.

Considering the absence of a micro SD expansion...some us don't want to be handcuffed with insufficient memory...hence we need the 32GB GSM HSPA+ model on Tmobile or Best buy or one of these other Cell phone ware houses..Expanys etc

I am almost tempted to buy one just so I could say I got it before Verizon released it and so I can use it on T-Mobile where it should be anyway. I think it was a bad choice on Google's part to make the deal they have with Verizon. This phone should be out and running on both T-Mobile and AT&T already.

I could not agree more! Shame on you Google. We all know that AT&T and T-Mobile's network is far superior than Verizon. The majority of the mobile world came from GSM technology which has now evolved.  It does not make sense that T-Mobile UK has the Galaxy Nexus/Nexus Prime on their website. It seems that the Nexus line which was once like having an exotic car (Ferrari) is now a domestic luxury vehicle (BMW)...everybody has one.
