Ever since the unveiling of Google Wallet, and Google’s push for NFC-based devices, it would seem that this eventual amalgamation of two services would come to be. And now it has. Google Checkout has merged with Google Wallet. Google hopes that it will make the purchasing experience better all around, especially now that people will not have to worry about two different kinds of transactions.
What’s better, though, is that Google Wallet will now be included and integrated into the Android Market, making things all that much easier at the same time. Not only that, but you’ll find the purchasing power of Google Wallet in Google+ and Games, along with YouTube as well. If you use Google Checkout, you’ll be switched over to Wallet seamlessly.
