If you were enticed by the HTC Edge, and anything quad-core related, actually, then you’ll probably want to pay attention. According to a new report from the Commercial Times, it looks like HTC will be showcasing a brand new tablet, and smartphone, with NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 processors under the hood.
Actually, this isn’t new news at all. We had heard with the initial leaks of the HTC Edge and HTC Ville that Mobile World Congress next year would be the place of choice for HTC to show off these new devices. And that’s exactly what we’re hearing again, right now. According to the report, HTC will not only show off the quad-core tablet, but also a similarly-equipped smartphone. In addition, the company will also show off a non-quad-core phone at the event, which is believed to be the Ville.
The report also goes on to say that the tablet could find its way to store shelves around the end of the third quarter, 2012. However, there wasn’t any word on the release of either of the smartphones.
