Huawei’s Snapdragon-powered Vision smartphone has been released in Australia. Tomorrow, consumers will be able to purchase the phone exclusively in Allphones stores at $279 unlocked or on contract with Optus. The phone rolls out with Android 2.3 (albeit with a complete visual overhaul) under its hood.
The phone is only 9.9 mm thick and features an aluminium unibody that comes in three colors: rose gold, silver, and charcoal. The screen measures 3.7 inches and sports a resolution of 480 x 800. The real highlight of this phone is the 3D interface which Huawei has developed. It is pretty and functional, but we’ll let you judge it for yourselves. In any case, all you folks down under run over to Allphone and pick one up!
