LG is an often forgotten handset maker here in the States. Most of the fanfare goes to HTC, Samsung, and Motorola since they pump out devices at an insane rate. LG doesn’t want to be left in the dust this holiday season, so they’re throwing an event of their own.

Invites to a December 1st event are going out now. The invitation is very plain and mysterious, but someone at LG overlooked one little detail: the file name. Engadget noticed that the file name of the invite mentioned “Nitro HD.” The Nitro HD is rumored to be the LG Optimus LTE for AT&T. Not much is known about the Nitro HD, but we’ll be keeping an eye open for you.
