PRADA Phone by LG 3.0 coming in 2012

Nobody thought it would happen again, but it did. In 2006, fashion trendsetters PRADA joined LG in a venture to create a phone. They pushed a million units with their first release in 2007. Now, it looks like they’re at it again. No word on anything except that they expect to be selling the third offering from the partnership in “early 2012″.

PRADA phone by LG 1.0 (yes, that’s the name of it) had a storied run eventually ending up as an exhibit at New York City’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Shanghai. With respect to trendsetting, the 1.0 iteration was the world’s first touchscreen mobile phone, and the 2.0 came with a watch in tow which allowed one-touch access to caller ID, SMS text messages, call history, call block, and two-way alarm notification. What the 3.0 has in store, only time will tell.

It looks cool. However I'm afraid of if developers will pick up on it or not. I'm become accustomed to asop android.

Kinda like Motorola Droid-like face and iPhone like back.

i had the original LG Prada...worst.phone.ever!....swore i would never touch LG again (and haven't)
