Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy Tab 10.1 teased to launch with US Cellular’s 4G network

So US Cellular is launching their 4G LTE network soon, and while the wireless carrier is more than willing to talk about the network enhancements, they are being coy about the actual devices they will be launching. They’ve said that it will be within the first quarter of 2012 that we’ll see a device, but we’re impatient, so seeing this leaked slide has us pretty excited.

While there are no devices with actual names on there, we can definitely make some safe assumptions as to what we’re looking at. For the “new 4G smartphone,” that looks devilishly like a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, doesn’t it? And then right there next to it is a “new 4G tablet,” which looks a lot like a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to us. While these placeholders do look a lot like the mentioned devices, it’s worth noting that these are just placeholders, and the folks who put together the slide could have used these devices as images and nothing more. But, it wouldn’t be too far of a stretch for either of these devices to find their way to US Cellular’s 4G network as launch devices.
