With all the hype about the Samsung Galaxy Nexus growing exponentially within the past few months, the question that’s been the question for most Android users has been: will it last? No, literally, will it survive the whole day? Battery life has not been the best on Android phones and when it comes to the Galaxy Nexus, the apple can’t fall too far from the tree, especially for the Verizon LTE version. However, it seems like Samsung is showing some favoritism to those in the homeland of South Korea.
Reports have shown that Samsung has been sending their Galaxy Nexus customers in South Korea two batteries, a standard 1750mAh battery along with a 2000mAh battery. I don’t know if that’s Samsung being generous or if that’s a sign that a Galaxy Nexus user needs more power than what it comes with out of the box. Granted, the Verizon version will have a 1850mAh juice box, but that’s no 2000mAh battery. How will the Galaxy Nexus fair on Verizon’s 4G network? We’ll just have to find out for ourselves. To do that, we’re going to need our phones now, please Verizon.
