Samsung Galaxy Nexus for Bell launching December 8
Well, there you have it. We told you that Bell was teasing the impending launch of the first Android 4.0-equipped handset, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, but that they hadn’t unveiled a launch date at the time. That has officially changed today, as the Canadian carrier has pulled the curtain off the date, and it’s right around the corner.
No, it isn’t a launch in November, but Bell never even kind of promised that, so no worries there. As Bell’s official Galaxy Nexus page now states, the phone will be made available for subscribers on December 8th. There’s no mention of a price quite yet, but that will be unveiled shortly.
So, Verizon? What are you waiting for?

You have GOT to be KIDDING ME?!?!!! Verizon was supposed to be all OVER THIS PHONE, (ever since it's introduction to the world). Now ATT is actually giving a release date BEFORE VERIZON?!!?! Verizon had better stop worrying about installing the bloat and just start being a good CARRIER, otherwise they are going to start LOSING the very client base that they believe they are securing by pulling these "secret date" releases with the big gun phones. After this announcement, they *may* have just lost my 8-year-long dedication to big red.
