Samsung Galaxy Nexus for Verizon delayed until December?
First, with that title, I’m sure if you’re excited to get your hands on the Galaxy Nexus for Verizon, you’re probably a little worried. But let’s just come right out and say that this is just a rumor. Plain and simple, that’s all this can be. We have heard absolutely nothing from Verizon or Samsung about an official release date, so anything that’s coming down the Internet in such a fashion can be nothing more than a rumor.
With that being said, unfortunately, it looks like the rumors are starting to pile up from Verizon “insiders,” all suggesting the same thing: that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the first phone to run Android 4.0, has been delayed until December. At this point, the talk of an “end of year” purchase has become pretty common “on the streets” (whatever that means), and there doesn’t seem to be any support evidence to the opposite.
While November 21st is still a pivotal day for Verizon, and we’ve heard comments of our own suggesting that something will be launched on that day, we can’t ignore the rumors. And, we can’t say one way or another quite yet. But, the 21st is catching up, so we won’t have long to wait and see.
Not again...another bungled launch of a Google Nexus device. Google should take charge and unleash this monster to the other carriers who are ready to release it today since Verizon is playing footsie with the release bcz of their commitments to other mega devices. Tmobile is ready to go for launch..the masses have been waiting...the only thing missing is the device it self. The GSM version with all its bands to support Tmobile as well as Att bands is ready to go..take off the chains and UNLEASH THIS BEAST TO THE MASSES. With the working relationship Tmo has w/ Google and following tradition, hopefully we can get a surprise on the 16th when the two will be having that event.
