Samsung has developed a fix for Galaxy Nexus volume bug

While the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus went off without a hitch, relatively, it didn’t take long before the world was made aware of a seemingly huge issue with the phone. Unfortunately for people who dropped down to a 900MHz 2G/EDGE network, the volume on the Galaxy Nexus would go haywire. Obviously that’s an issue in a lot of ways, so people were calling Samsung out for a fix.

Fortunately, it hasn’t taken Samsung long to get a work-around put together, as the company has made an official statement regarding the problem. Here’s what Samsung has told Android Central, after they reached out to the manufacturer:

“We are aware of the volume issue and have developed a fix. We will update devices as soon as possible.”

It doesn’t say they are working on an fix, but that they have already developed a fix. That’s quick, and considering the device is a Nexus handset, the update shouldn’t be too far out for owners experiencing the problem. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear more.
