The Galaxy Nexus Blazes Past the iPhone 4S and DROID RAZR as Fastest Smartphone

The Galaxy Nexus is a fast phone. That much me know, but how fast is it compared to the other big dogs? According to a browser test conducted by Mail Online the Galaxy Nexus outpaced the iPhone 4S, DROID RAZR, and even Samsung’s own Galaxy S II. You can see the impressive results in the chart above.

The likely reason for these results is the built in hardware acceleration in Android 4.0. But while the G-NEX kicked but in the browser test it couldn’t compete with the iPhone in the graphics department. Now if only the Galaxy Nexus could be announced in the U.S. we might be able to see these results for ourselves.

I think it would be nice if you mentioned that this figure came from Anandtech and linked to the original Anandtech article, rather than just cite the Daily Mail, who only mentions the website and doesn't even have a link. Blogs that reblog information from blogs (this article in the Daily Mail is basically a fancy blog post) should really drill down to the original source of the information, if only to do some due diligence in understanding the original source.  Authorship on the Internet is already confusing enough....

Where is the Galaxy Note in this comparison?

The title there isn't exactly correct, you know..... We're all android fans here, but let's not talk shit.

Just ran this test on my G2x with Cyanogen mod 7 and dolphin web browser and got 89202

ICS clearly provides some serious performance improvements. What'll be REALLY interesting to see is it running on the Exynos in the SGSII line...
