With many large phone manufacturers these days, it’s easy to forget about the little guys. We doubt that many people have ever even seen a phone made by Alcatel, but yet another two were just announced. Known as the One Touch 918 and 918D, they both have very low-end specs: 3.2″ HVGA screen, 3.2MP camera, 3G and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, and a FM radio, all powered by Android 2.3.
It gets interesting with the difference between the two. The 918D features a dual-SIM slot, while the plain 918 only features one SIM card slot. This could be a very convenient feature for international travelers, as well as anyone with more than one phone line. Do any of you require a dual-SIM enabled phone? Would you want one?
