While we’re sure no one doubted it would happen, the day has finally come where Android 4.0 has made its way onto Amazon’s Kindle Fire. While it’s nothing more than it booting (nothing’s working), it’s still exciting that the modding community is making quick progress. Most are hoping a working build will be available by Christmas, and we’re with them. If anyone wants to contribute to the project, it’s all open source with the kernel available. Anyone looking forward to a port of Ice Cream Sandwich to you Kindle Fire? Are you happy with the current software? Tell us about it in the comments!
