Availability in general has to count for something. At least, that’s what Amazon (and other retailers) must be thinking right around now. There is no denying that ASUS’ quad-core Android-powered tablet, the Transformer Prime, is a hot ticket this holiday season, as the demand for the device doesn’t seem to be dying down. And if you haven’t been able to pull the trigger on one yet due to a lack of availability, Amazon is letting everyone know that they’ve turned the light back on, and the tablet is no longer listed as “out of stock.”
However, it’s not all good news. As you can see in the image above, especially with that red arrow pointing right towards it, Amazon doesn’t think they’ll be shipping the device anytime soon. In fact, it could be anywhere between four to seven weeks before the tablet ships from the depths of Amazon and finds its way towards your door. Better than nothing, right? Looks like that leveling off of stock in January, as ASUS said, is right on track.
