ASUS Transformer Prime release delayed by WiFi woes

If you are one of the people that were hoping to get a Transformer Prime this month, well you’re not. ASUS Canada stated that the WiFi range on the Transformer Prime did not meet QA/QC standards. Of course, this has delayed the release of the Transformer Prime, which was to be the first Ice Cream Sandwich device to be released. Who knows if it will carry that distinction when it is finally released.

The delay is officially indefinite. Though they have stated that they are working on implementing a new solution, they have not elaborated on what that solution is or when it will be available. The tablet will not be released until this issue is ironed out so if you jumped on a pre-order, perhaps its time to talk to your retailers.
