One of the most popular Android 3.0 tablets was the ASUS Transformer, boasting a unique keyboard dock. ASUS has been very prompt on updating the tablet, and is now rolling out some bug fixes. They include extended support for HDMI, performance improvements, updates to pre-installed applications, a fix to some input lag, and maybe even some groundwork to the Ice Cream Sandwich update.
It may not be Android 4.0, but a update to fix some bugs is still welcome. ASUS is expected to update the Transformer to Ice Cream Sandwich in early 2012, so don’t worry that the device won’t receive the update. Despite the launch of the Transformer Prime, it’s great to see that Asus is keeping its previous device up to date. Anyone with a Transformer receive the update? Notice anything different?
