‘Google Currents’ for Android Announced, Brings a New Way to View Websites
Google has bee on a roll this week and today is no exception. They’ve just taken the warp off a new Android app called “Google Currents.” If you’re familiar with the iOS app “Flipboard” you will understand the concept of this app. Basically it takes a website and turns morphs it into something you might find in a magazine. At launch there are 150 partners, including the likes of PBS, Huffington Post, AllThingsD, and Forbes. Users can also add RSS feeds of their own, and even view their Google+ streams. The app is perfect for tablets, but works on phones too. Check out the video below to see what it looks like.
