Good news for any of our Hebrew or Arabic speaking friends out there! Google has announced that Voice Search now supports Hebrew and Arabic language, especially dialects from Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, UAE, and Israel. Google has trained the voice recognition engine with over a million phrases, but it will continue to lear as you use it.
All you need is Android 2.2 and higher to take advantage of this. You can reboot your phone to see the new languages show up, or get the updated app from the Market. We hope this helps out those who speak in these languages. Happy voice searching!
