Handster to assist devs in getting their Android apps on BlackBerry App World

Android devs got some good news today from Handster. Handster is a division of Opera Software that is a marketplace for apps across multiple platforms (namely Android, Windows Mobile, Java, Symbian, BlackBerry, and iPhone). Devs that have apps on the Handster catalog are being submitted to BlackBerry App World.

What’s great about this you ask? Well, if your app is free, are going to be updated automatically. Paid apps need to be updated in you Handster developer account or sent via email. Android coming to life on BlackBerrys seems to be a great idea. It would bring new life to the stagnant RIM ecosystem and bring a new market to developers trying to get more exposure.
