HTC ThunderBolt for Verizon in line to receive software upgrade soon

For those of you out there who still own an HTC ThunderBolt, we’ve got good news. Well, Verizon has good news, we’re just passing it along. We know there are still several of you out there who have noticed a few bugs here and there on your device, and Verizon has noticed them, too. That’s why a new software update should help with all of that. Unfortunately, we don’t know exactly when the update is coming. So, until then, just take a peek as to what’s coming:

    Device Features

  • Resolved issue with contact ringtones
  • Improvements to notification volume
  • Updated local streaming playback mechanism when network connection is not available
  • Apps & Widgets

  • Updated Twitter API for Peep/FriendStream
  • Clock app now included in All App list
  • Improvements in Exchange ActiveSync

The update will come in at 36.152MB, and it will bring up your software to version number 2.11.605.9. Verizon has it listed as “coming soon,” so it could hit any day now. We’ll stay on top of it.
