HTC to shift focus to quality over quantity in 2012
HTC has been weathering some stormy seas lately and sources report that the smartphone manufacturer will be shifting the direction of their company strategy in the coming year. For 2012, the handset manufacturer will be drastically dropping the number of releases that are made to focus more on the quality of each handset that is released.
In terms of official announcements HTC is planning to launch a phone called the HTC Elite as the company’s flagship phone for the first half of 2012. It will run Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and feature Beats Audio like a few of the most recent HTC releases. The Elite will be carried by AT&T and though the official name of the device has yet to be released, rumors say that it may launch as the “HTC Congressional” (No, really). That may mean that it’s overpriced and ineffective. All joking aside, hopefully the smartphone powerhouse will claw its way back to the primetime.
they have to use very high quality materials. sense is very nice. i love the different setups you can have. my g2 hero felt quality. the later offerings felt cheap. im going to be very interested to see a nice aluminum gorilla glass htc roll out.
