Working at Google certainly has it’s perks, and one of those perks is having the latest software on your Android phone. Assuming of course that phone is the Nexus S. Google stated that the Nexus S would be updated to ICS once the Galaxy Nexus is released. As that day (allegedly) gets closer and closer so does the inevitable ICS update.
Google employees have posted on Google+ saying their Nexus S’ have started to receive an OTA update to ICS for further testing. This is called “dogfooding,” which is the practice of having company employees use a product before releasing it to the public. This is a good way to make sure everything is ship shape before unleashing it on the mass public.
