Instagram for Android officially in works
Instagram, the popular iPhone application, is making its way to Android. Today we’ve finally gotten some confirmation, as the CEO confirmed at LeWeb that they have two developers currently working on it. There’s still no date to be heard of, but it’s reassuring to hear that it’s at least being worked on.
The app has been hinted in the past, so this comes with little surprise. After the success on the iPhone, it makes sense that the developer is looking to expand. The company is expecting the app to double their numbers, and it sounds like they need it. Instagram isn’t bringing in any revenue, but is looking to maybe add advertisements to its future apps. Do you want Instagram on your Android phone? Does the possibility of advertisements make a difference? Let us know in the comments!

We have been waiting for too long for the Android version. Hope that once it's officially launched, we'll get to use all the available features it offers on iOS. Some applications that are made for both iOS and Android only offer limited features on the Android version, which makes it very disappointing.
