LG Prada Phone 3.0 available for South Koreans, Europe on deck

Remember we reported on the LG Prada Phone a few weeks back? Well, the dream is now a reality. It’s finally hit the streets of South Korea and it’s calling to name-brand-addicts everywhere. If you remember, the phone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core OMAP processor. It ships with Android 2.3.7 and has been reskinned by LG and PRADA. It also keeps with the recently established tradition of coming with NFC hardware in tow.

Now, all that’s gravy, but at what cost? The phone costs 899,900 won. That’s almost $800 dollars. We aren’t mad at PRADA & LG for trying to make money, but for $800 bones we would have liked to see some better hardware. In any case, fashionistas will not have the same complaints as we do. So, you brand-hungry people out there in South Korea, go get yourself a new phone. We hear that Europe will be next on the Prada phone’s tour and soon we will also be seeing that update to Ice Cream Sandwich.
