Remember Google TV? That way hyped project by Google that kinda turned into a dud? Yes, they still exist. While about a month ago Sony’s Google TV products got updated to Android 3.1, Logitech left their products in the dark. That changes starting tonight though, as the update is rolling out to Logitech’s Revue set-top boxes. The roll out officially begins this evening, and will continue until December 17.
The newest features include a refined UI, along with access to the Android Market. That also means more access to content, as the Market now carries movies and music. This might also bring in some new sales, as the box currently sells at a competitive $99 and is now fully Android compatible. Anyone have the Revue and excited for the update? Planning on buying one because of the low price point? Let us know in the comments!
