When Meizu announced its dual-core MX phone earlier, they made it clear that a quad-core variant would be hitting retailers next year. Well, today, Jack Wong (Chairman at Meizu) announced that it will probably come in May. We don’t have any other information at this point in the game other than the fact that that it will come with all the UI enhancements that we know from MIUI, but will be based on Ice Cream Sandwich of course.
Reports also indicate that the processor will most likely be the Exynos 4412 which is an upgrade from the 4210 that is currently powering the dual-core MX. The quad-core Exynos was announced recently and will probably be seen in devices from various manufacturers.
