For those of you who skipped over the original Motorola DROID RAZR that came out last month, due to the fact you were really hoping it would come out in a different color, then your time of waiting is almost over. We knew the white version of the DROID RAZR was coming soon, and we had heard in the past that the December 15th date was indeed the launchpad. And today, early this morning, Verizon has made it official.
The device is the same as the original, darker model. But, as you can see in the official press image above, it’s a shade lighter. While the device is still launching with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board, Motorola has not been quiet about the fact it will be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the near future. You can check out the full press release below.
It goes on December 15th, for $299.99 on a new, two-year contract.
