With the Motorola DROID RAZR, Motorola and Verizon brought back a brand name that many people thought dead. The RAZR is the thinnest 4G LTE phone on Verizon’s network, and that was definitely one of the device’s selling points. But, along with that thin profile, some folks may think the battery isn’t big enough. Motorola looks to be alleviating that problem with the incoming ‘DROID RAZRMAX,’ which will apparently feature a bigger battery.
Now, with that bigger battery, the phone will be thicker as well. However, only slightly. This name comes from two different sources. The first, and a bit more believable, is from the EXIF image data you’re looking at above. And then, according to a RAZR Forums user, they were told by a Verizon employee that a ‘RAZRMAX’ was coming soon, featuring a bigger battery. Interesting, indeed.
Of course, both Verizon and Motorola are staying mum on this, and considering this is the first time we’ve heard of the device, we imagine that it won’t be too much longer before more information starts finding its way onto the Internet. Would you be interested in a DROID RAZR with a bigger battery?
