Motorola Xyboards get price cut… after just one month

Uh oh. Looks like Motorola’s Droid Xyboard (yeah we don’t like the name either) is not selling well. Verizon Wireless seems to be a little nervous about how the pair (8.2 and 10.1 inch models) will do in terms of sales. A quick check at Verizon’s website will confirm that the prices have been slashed by $50. It’s been out on the market for a grand total of… one month.

The two tablets have identical hardware features (with the exception of the difference in size). They’re powered by dual-core OMAP 4 processors clocked at 1.2 GHz with 16GB of internal memory. They sport 1GB in RAM and an IPS display with Gorilla Glass. They also sport a microSD card slot, microUSB port, and WiFi-N antenna. In any case, those of you who were on the fence about the tab, this may be the perfect time to get your hands on one.
