OnLive has launched on Android allowing subscribers to play games on their tablets and smartphones. OnLive’s service utilizes server-side computing power to render graphically-intense games and stream them via the cloud. The game-streaming service adds L.A. Noire to its offerings and brings on-screen controls created by the developers that will leverage features like your tablet’s accelerometer.
OnLive will offer 25 games with touchscreen controls as the app launches while the rest of their games (almost 200 titles) will be playable using a wireless controller. OnLive has officially brought console quality graphics to your tablet without a quad-core processor, BOOM! The potential is there all there’s left to do now is test it out.
