Samsung Galaxy Nexus for Verizon found in the wild, still can’t be bought

While we don’t imagine that a Samsung store in New York City will necessarily get in trouble for showing off a phone that doesn’t have an exact (or even general) official launch date from Verizon, it’s still interesting to see the device out for show, so everyone can see. It isn’t surprising that Verizon would want someone to show it off, though. And that’s what we get here, with the obvious Verizon 4G LTE logo on the back of that plastic battery cover.

The Samsung Store is located in the Shops at Columbus Circle in New York City, and they have a couple of the devices out for you to stare at and fondle. Unfortunately you won’t be able to actually buy one, though, so don’t get your hopes up too much. But, if you are close enough to stop by, then you know you really want to stop in and take a look at the device, to see if it is your perfect fit. Or, you could always wait until December 9th and hope that it actually launches then.
