Extended batteries are certainly a mainstay for any hardcore smartphone user. As anyone who has used one will tell you, they provide that extra boost that could potentially give you just enough energy to get through a busy day without having to find a wall or car to plug your device into. In the case of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, there is indeed an extended battery, but at only 13 percent more juice, some folks may already be assuming that’s not enough.
This is a close-up shot of the back of the 4G LTE-enabled device, along with its extended battery lying there next to it. The extended battery measures in at 2100mAh, and as you can imagine it makes the device just a bit thicker than it already is. With that LTE radio tucked inside the device, we imagine anyone who picks up this phone will gladly accept a bigger battery into their lives, even if it is “only” 13 percent.
