The Galaxy Nexus by Samsung for Verizon is now available, but it doesn’t look like everything is hunky-dory for the handset. If you picked one up, you may have noticed that your device is not picking up all that much signal, especially when compared to your previous phone. It looks like it’s not just all in your imagination, as Verizon has admitted to its existence, and that a fix is coming down the pipe.
As these things usually go, there’s no exact date for an update quite yet, but considering Galaxy Nexus owners should be expecting an update to Android 4.0.3 in the coming weeks, we imagine that that is when the signal strength issue will more than likely fall into place.
Let’s just hope that doesn’t mean the update doesn’t get “delayed” for the Verizon-branded version.
