AT&T saw the release of the white Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket, and T-Mobile got their own version of the original Galaxy S II in white not too long ago. Apparently that wasn’t a trend at all, and Samsung has every intention of keeping up with the white facade updates for their devices with the upcoming release of a white version of Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch, if these press images are any indicator of future plans.
While nothing is official quite yet, these press images do much to tell us that Samsung and Sprint have an upcoming “new release” coming at some point in the future. The fine folks over at Pocketnow managed to get their hands on this press image, showcasing not only the front panel but also the battery cover, all of which has been given a white makeover. As far as details go, there aren’t any. We’d expect the white version of the Epic 4G Touch to be exactly like the original, so don’t get your hopes up that everything is changing.
There’s no mention of a release date or pricing yet, so stay tuned.
