Back in August, Samsung officially announced the LTE-equipped Galaxy Tab 8.9. We’ve seen the device launch on AT&T’s network recently, and now it looks like it is Bell’s turn up in Canada. The device hasn’t changed much at all, which is a good thing. The tablet is listed as being available now, so if you’ve been waiting to get your hands on this particular device, especially with LTE inside, now’s the time to act.
As you might expect, there’s plenty of subsidizing going on here. If you want to get the tablet for its cheapest price, which is $429.95, then you’ll need to sign up for a new, three-year contract. And, actually, that’s all of the options you get. You don’t get to choose a two- or one-year contract this time around. So, if you don’t want to sign up for that three-year stretch and you’d rather pay out-right for the device, you’ll have to drop $649.95. But if you want the ability to tell everyone you know that you got your hands on Bell’s first LTE-equipped tablet, then this is the one to get.
