For all of you Nexus S by Samsung owners out there, today is a good day. The official Google Nexus Twitter account (@GoogleNexus) has just confirmed that the roll-out for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to the GSM/UMTS version of the device is starting to roll out now.
Unfortunately, that’s all of the details we have at the moment. We don’t know which type of build it will be, but signs point to Android 4.0.3, more than likely. The Twitter account has linked to helpful hints for Ice Cream Sandwich, but we imagine that won’t do you much good until you get the update.
The Twitter account has also confirmed that while the update starts today, it will take a month to complete. So, for your GSM/UMTS Nexus S owners out there, stay sharp. And we’ll just have to wait to hear when the Sprint version, the Nexus S 4G, gets its own tasting.
