It’s not everyday we see a new flip phone announced, especially one that’s also a smartphone. Featuring two 3.5″ Super AMOLED screens and a dual-core processor, it isn’t a low-end phone either. The specs include two 800×480 Super AMOLED panels, Android 2.3 with TouchWiz over it, a 5MP camera, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 dual-core processor, and dual SIM card slots. This all makes a phone that is incredibly unique, and is sure to draw in some new customers.
With the flip phones and feature phones in general dead, this is a great hybrid between feature and smartphone. It also has high-end specs, and should keep both tech enthusiasts and the general consumer happy. There’s little hope for it traveling to the US though, as it appears to be China bound. Sales probably don’t be the best either, as it has a very expensive price of ¥8990 ($1,410). Anyone interested in Samsung’s hybrid? Would you pay that much for it? Let us know in the comments!
